How to align text or data in Spreadsheet cells to left, right, center?
In an OpenOffice spreadsheet, text is automatically aligned to the left edge of the cell and numbers are automatically aligned to the right edge of the cell.
Step 1: To align the data to left, right and center, click on the cell or range of cells you want to adjust.
Step 2: Then, choose alignment from the alignment group given as shown in the image.
Left Alignment: Use "Align Left" button to align the contents to the left edge of the cell or use the shortcut key Ctrl+L
Right Alignment: Use "Align Right" button to align the contents to the right edge of the cell or use the shortcut key Ctrl+R
Center Alignment: Use "Align Center Horizontally" button to center the content within the cell or use the shortcut key Ctrl+E
