How to enter date in OpenOffice Spreadsheet?

Explanation

In a spreadsheet, date can be entered in the order of day, month, year separated by a slash (/). Depending upon the country of installation, the date formats will get changed. The format of date can also be changed using "Format Cells" option, which will be discussed later.
