How to change date format in OpenOffice Spreadsheet?

Explanation

To change date format in a cell using the format cells, follow either of the two options given below,
Step 1: Open the format cells dialog box or press shortcut Ctrl+1. For other methods of opening the format cells Click here.
Step 2: In the format cells dialog box, under the Numbers tab → Category → click Date and choose the date Format as required and press OK.
