How to find largest number using MAX Function in OpenOffice Spreadsheet?

Explanation

MAX function is used to find the largest number from a range of values. The syntax for the MAX function is MAX(number1; number2; ... number30).
To find out the max value, follow the steps given below,
Step 1: Select the cell where you need to display the answer.
Step 2: Type =MAX( then drag and select the cells separated by semicolon and close the bracket.
Step 3: Press the "Enter" Key.
Example: If you want to calculate the largest value between a set of numbers which is in the cell reference A1 to A8 then you have to give it as =MAX(A1:A8) then press "Enter" Key on the Keyboard.
