Custom 404 Page Not Found Error Page

A 404 page not found error page is used to tell your website visitors that the requested page, document or file does not exists. You could easily create the 404 page in your Plesk panel with the Error Pages button.

This short tutorial will explain you on how to create a 404 page not found error page in Plesk for Windows Website with a step by step instructions with pictures.

Step 1: Login to your Plesk admin panel.

Step 2: Go to → Hosting Settings

Step 3: Under Web Scripting and Statistics do check on the custom error documents and click on OK button. By default the document is ON.

Step 4: You have now successfully created your 404 Page Not Found custom error page via Plesk for your Windows Website. The saved 404 Error document can be found under error_docs folder.
Step 5: To find your error document and make further changes if future, Go to → File Manager


Step 6: Navigate to error_docs


Step 7: Find not_found.html.
