Net Run Rate ( NRR) is the statistical method of analyzing the overall performance of a team in the cricket. It can be calculated based on total runs scored and conceded, total overs faced and bowled in cricket.

Formula to Find NRR
Net Run Rate= (Total Runs Scored / Total Overs Faced) "“ (Total Runs Conceded / Total Overs Bowled)

Step 1: Lets us consider a cricket team has scored 180 runs, facing 5 overs. While the conceded runs is 175, in 6 overs.
Total Runs Scored - 180
Total Overs Faced - 5
Total Runs Conceded - 175
Total Overs Bowled - 6

Step 2: Calculating the values in the formula.
Net Run Rate= (Total Runs Scored / Total Overs Faced) "“ (Total Runs Conceded / Total Overs Bowled)
NRR = (180 / 5) - (175 / 6)
= 36 - 29.16
= 6.84
