How to find the highest value using MAX Function in MS Excel 2013?
Max function is used to find the highest value from a range of values. To find the max value follow the below steps.
Step 1: Type "=MAX" in the cell where you want to display the result.
Step 2: Open the parenthesis and select the range of values and then close the parenthesis. Hit enter to display the result.
For example, to find the largest value from the cell reference A1 to A8 enter as =MAX(A1:A8) and hit enter. Result is shown in the cell where you performed the max function.
