Count Number of Days Between Dates in Microsoft Excel

With Microsoft Excel you can easily calculate the number of days between two given dates using the (-) subtraction operator.

This is a short tutorial that explains you on how to calculate days between two dates in excel with pictures.

Step 1: Suppose if you want to calculate the dates between two days say 08/06/2016 and 09/07/2016. Just enter the two dates in two seperate cells in microsoft excel as shown below.

Step 2: In a blank cell, enter the formula =B2-B1, then press Enter key.

Step 3: The microsoft excel will automatically count the number of days between the two dates and display you with the answer. See screenshot below.
