How to align data in Ms Excel 2013 - Left, Right, Center, Top, Middle, Bottom Alignments
In Microsoft Excel, text will be aligned in the bottom left corner and numbers will be aligned in the bottom right corner of the cell by default. You can change the display of the default text alignments using the steps given below.
Step 1: Select the cell where you need to modify the alignment.
Step 2: Choose the required alignment from the alignment group under the home tab.
Left Alignment:
To align the data to the left bottom of the cell, click Align Left button.
Right Alignment:
To align the data to the right bottom of the cell, click Align Right button.
Center Alignment:
To align the data to the center of the cell, click Center button.
Top Alignment:
To align the data to the top of the cell, click Top Align button.
Middle Alignment:
To align the data in the center position (ie between the top and bottom of the cell) click Middle Align button.
Bottom Alignment:
To align the data in the bottom of the cell, click Bottom Align button.
