How to change sound settings in Ubuntu?

Explanation

To adjust the loud speaker volume :
Click the Loud speaker icon in the top right corner and adjust the slide bar to set loud speaker volume.

To change the sound settings:
You can change the sound settings using two options.
Option 1: Click Loud Speaker icon and then click Sound settings.

Option 2: Press Window button and type as system settings and hit enter.

In the system settings window, select Sound under Hardware.

In the Sound settings, adjust the output volume by moving the pointer over the slide bar.
