Making Origami Paper Wreath

Wreaths are designs made of flowers, which are used in ceremonial occasions and Christmas Decorations. Christmas Wreaths can be designed to make wishes for Christmas saying "Merry Christmas". Christmas wreaths are used as decorative ornament during Christmas and New Year Celebrations. Wreaths are used typically as household ornaments, mainly as Christmas decoration. They are also used in ceremonial events in many cultures around the globe. Here are the simple steps on how to create an origami Christmas wreath. Try yourself using the below simple steps and create your own Christmas paper wreath and decorate your home this Christmas Season.

Materials Required:
→ Origami papers in 4 colors (4 sets - 16 papers)

Steps to Follow
Step 1: Take an origami paper with the color of your choice.

Step 2: Make a mountain fold. White shaded portion should be facing outside. Do the mountain fold in the other side too.

Step 3: Unfold the paper. You should have got the fold marks as shown in the below image.

Step 4: Make a rectangle fold. Do it in other side too.

Step 5: The other side (open side) of the paper should appear as we have shown below.

Step 6: Now hold the centre in both the sides using fingers and bring it to touch each other.

Step 7: When you fold your paper, it should appear as shown in the below image.

Step 8: You could have got a square fold as below.

Step 9: The other side of the fold appears as below.

Step 10: Now from any one side take the open end and bring it towards centre.
