The ratio of males to females in a population is termed as sex ratio. It is a measure expressed generally as the number of males per 100 females. This tutorial will help you to calculate the sex ratio based on the number and percentage of male, female population.

Formula :
Sex Ratio can be calculated in three ways :
When Number of Population is Given,
(Number of Males / Number of Females ) x 100
When Female Population % is Given,
x = (10000 - 100f) / f
When Male Population % is Given,
x = [(100x100) / (100-m)] - 100
Where,
m = Male Population %
f = Female Population %
