**Steps To Convert Fraction To Decimal Number**

→ Multiply a number by the bottom of the fraction to make it 10 or 100 or 1000 or any one followed by 0s.

→ With that number multiply both top and bottom.

→ Put a decimal point in the top number, one space
from the right hand side for every zero in the bottom number.

**Step 1: **Let us consider the example.

Convert 4/5 to a decimal number.

**Step 2: **Multiply** **5** **by 20 to become 100.

**Step 3: **Multiply** **top number 4 and bottom number 5** **by 20.

= 4x20 / 5x20

= 80 / 100

**Step 4: **Put a decimal point in the top number 80, two space
from the right hand side.

= 0.80

**NOTE : **There is no way to multiply some numbers (Eg : 3) to become 10 or 100 or anyone followed by 0s,so we can convert an approximate decimal number by choosing
