→ To eliminate the decimal places multiply both top and bottom by 10 or 100 or 1000 etc., after the decimal point. For example if there are two numbers after the decimal point multiply by 100, if there are three use 1000, etc.,
→ And then Simplify.

Convert the decimal number 0.2525 into fraction.

Step 2: Write this decimal number as fraction as 0.2525 / 1.

Step 3: To eliminate the decimal 4 places, multiply 0.2525 by 10000 to get 2525.

Step 4: Simplify :
= 2525 / 10000
= 101 / 400
