**Formula for Calculating BMR for Male :**

**BMR for Men = 66 + (13.8 x Weight in Kgs) + (5 x Height in cms) - (6.8 x Age in Years)**

**Step 1: **Find the BMR for a 30 years old man weighing 60 kilograms and 160 centimeters high.

Age = 30 years

Weight = 60 kilograms

Height = 160 centimeters

**Step 2:** Substitute the given values in the formula,

BMR for Male = 66 + (13.8 x 60) + (5 x 160) - (6.8 x 30)

= 66 + 828+ 800 - 204

= 894 + 596

= 1490 kilocalories per day.

So, the Basal Metabolic Rate for a 30 years Male weighing 60 kgs is **1490 kcal/day.**
