Short tutorial that explains you on how to calculate aggregate marks for high school with simple step-by-step procedure.
Aggregate marks means the average marks. Simply add all the marks of all the subjects and divide them with total number of subjects.
This short tutorial teaches you on how to calculate aggregate marks for the high school grades using a simple example.
Formula Used:
Aggregate Marks = (Total Marks Obtained / Total Number of Subjects)
For
Example, Consider that there are 5 subjects, Maths, Biology, Physics,
History & Geography. The marks that you have obtained on the 5
subjects be, Maths = 80, Biology = 70, Physics = 70, History = 80, Geography = 60 Calculate the aggregate
(average) marks in each subjects.
Step 1: Given,
Maths = 80
Biology = 70
Physics = 70
History = 80
Geography = 60
Step 2: Applying the values in the formula,
Aggregate Marks = (Total Marks Obtained / Total Number of Subjects)
= (80 + 70 + 70 + 80 + 60 / 5)
= (360 / 5)
= 72 is the aggregate marks.
So the aggregate marks in the above calculation is 72.
