How to activate DND / block commercial communication through Customer Care Executive?
Learn how to register in DND through customer care executive of any service provider. Inform the customer care executive whether you would like to choose fully blocked category (no calls, no SMS) or partially blocked category (no calls, SMS for selected subjects).
i) For Fully Blocked Category
If you choose fully blocked category, the customer care executive will record your preference in the PCPR (Providers Customer Preference Register) and then will be informed to you through SMS mentioning your unique registration number.
ii) For Partially Blocked Category
→If you choose partially blocked category, the customer care executive will inform you about the list of available subjects as follows.
1.Banking / Insurance / Financial Products / Credit Cards
5.Consumer Goods and Automobiles
6.Communication / Broadcasting / Entertainment / IT
7.Tourism and Leisure
→The customer care executive will inform you to choose any one of the options given. You can choose either one option, combination of options or all options.
→The executive will confirm your DND (Do not disturb) service activation in the PCPR (Providers Customer Preference Register).
→You will receive an SMS regarding the confirmation along with your unique registration number.
