How to manage filter view options in Google Spreadsheet?
Filter view options:
There are four options available to manage the filter view,
1: Rename
2: Update Range
3: Duplicate
4: Delete
Use any one of the following options, to manage the filter view.
Option 1: Click Data → Filter views → Filter view options → choose the option.
Option 2: Click the arrow near the filter icon → Filter view options → choose the option.
Option 3: Click the settings icon and choose any of the options.
Rename Option:
To rename the filter view,
Step 1: Choose any of the above said options to select "Rename". Here, we have chosen Settings → Rename.
Step 2: Cursor will highlight the filter name field to change the name. Type the name and press "Enter".
Update Range:
To update the selected filter range,
Step 1: Settings icon → Update Range.
Step 2: Type the range of the cells and press "Enter".
Duplicate:
To make a duplicate copy of the filter view,
Step 1: Settings icon → Duplicate.
Step 2: Duplicate copy of the filter view will be created with the name "Copy of..".
Step 3: You can choose the filters from the list under Filter option as shown below,
Delete:
To delete the filter view created,
Step 1: Click settings icon and select "Delete".
Step 2: Created filter view will be deleted and removed from the list.
Close:
To close or hide the filter view,
Option 1: Click the Close icon.
Option 2: Select "None" from the filter list.
Filter view will be closed and normal view will be enabled.
