How to upload a file in cPanel using file manager?

Explanation

Step 1: Login to cPanel and select File Manager under Files.
Step 2: Select public_html and click upload icon.

Step 3: In the resulting page, select "browse" and then select a file from a local folder which has to be uploaded.

Step 4: You can see the upload status in status bar at the bottom right corner of a page.

Step 5: Close the file upload window.
Step 6: In file manager, click "Reload" to see the file you have uploaded.

Files can also be uploaded using FTP client tools like Filezilla.
