How to Reinstall Drupal in cPanel?
Drupal is a free open source content-management framework which is used
to build websites. To install drupal using cPanel follow the steps given
below.
Step 1: Login to cPanel with your username and password.
Step 2: Scroll down to Softaculous Apps Installer and select Drupal under Scripts.
Step 3: Click on the Install tab and fill all the fields to install drupal.
Software Setup:
Choose the version to install:
Click the drop down and choose the version.
Choose Protocol:
Click the drop
down and choose the protocol. If
you have purchased SSL, then choose HTTPS else choose HTTP.
Choose Domain:
Select the domain name from the drop down.
In Directory:
To install drupal directly under the main folder (ie., public_html), leave this field empty.
To install drupal inside a directory/folder, provide folder name in this field. (for eg "drupal")
CRON Job:
Not mandatory to fill the cron field.
Site Name:
Provide the name for the site.
Admin Account:
Admin Username:
Enter the username of the admin.
Admin Password:
Provide strong and secured password to avoid account from being hacked. Strength of the password will be displayed by the
password
strength checker.
Admin Email:
Type the email address of the admin.
Step 4: Click Install, once if have entered data in all the fields.
Drupal will begin to install as shown in the below image.
Once if the software is installed, you will get a notification message as shown in the below image.
