How to make caramelized potatoes?
Potato is a simple edible vegetable used for preparing different culinary recipes. You can fry, mash, boil, roast and do lot more with potatoes. Our simple tutorial will help you to make the caramelized potatoes along with the few other basic ingredients.
Potatoes - 4
Vegetable or Cooking oil - 3 table spoon
Salt - 3 teaspoon
Pepper - 2 teaspoon
Chilli powder - 1 tablespoon
How to Make
Step 1: Slice the potatoes into long thick stripes as shown in the below image.
Step 2: Heat the vegetable oil in the non-stick pan.
Step 3: Once if the oil gets heated, add the sliced potatoes into the saute pan.
Step 4: Saute it for 5 to 10 minutes at low-medium heat.
Step 5: Now sprinkle out the enough amount of salt.
Step 6: Add the chilli powder over the potatoes and continue to fry for 10 more minutes at low heat.
Step 7: Saute it well, till the potatoes gets caramelized with the oil.
Step 6: Potatoes will become tender and soft as shown in the below image.
Step 7: Now Garnish the potatoes with the coriander leaves and serve it hot.
You can plainly taste this spicy tempting recipe or stuff this fried potatoes with the toasted bread and sandwiches.
